Chrysalis was established in 1988 by the Houston County Medical Alliance (HCMA). HCMA continues to support Chrysalis in a variety of ways throughout the year.

Wiregrass United Way

The Wiregrass United Way was founded in 1938. WUW is governed by a local Board of Trustees made up of members from each of the counties we serve. Because of generous donations from businesses and individuals in the Wiregrass, they help fund 40 partner agencies--enabling them to provide valuable services and resources to those in need and making our corner of southeast Alabama a better place for all. Chrysalis is proud to be a partner agency of the Wiregrass United Way.
